Having trouble? Follow the steps below.
Step 1 - Download the Help Tool
Click the blue button above, and the file should begin downloading to your computer. If promted ignore any warnings, or if your browser asks you what you wish to do with the file, select "Open File" (or "Save to computer"). You may have to wait a moment or two while it downloads. This can take a while, depending on your internet connection, so be patient (30 to 90 seconds is normal).
Step 2 - Open the File to Install the Tool
The install tool may open automatically. If not, you'll need to open the file that you've downloaded.
You should be able to open the file by clicking in the bottom left hand corner, as per the image above. Or hit CTRL+J on your keyboard to open the list of recently downloaded files. Select the one named "DOUBLE CLICK TO RUN AcrePC Remote Help and Support.exe"
Select the downwards facing arrow in the top right hand corner, as per the image above and select the file. Or hit CTRL+J on your keyboard to open the list of recently downloaded files. Select the one named "DOUBLE CLICK TO RUN AcrePC Remote Help and Support.exe"

Alternatively - Press the Windows Key and "E" on your keyboard to open File Explorer. Navigate to your download folder. Open the file named "DOUBLE CLICK TO RUN - AcrePC Remote.exe"
Step 3 - Confirm Installation with Windows Security
The Help Tool installs silently in the background, and you may not have to do anything further.
However, Windows 10 may try to protect you when installing the software (This is normal Windows behaviour, it's checking to make sure you want to go ahead and install the tool). You can tell Windows to install the help tool, and ignore the warnings by following the steps belowU.
First, Click the "More Info" on the blue window.
Then, Click "Run Anyway".
Some people may be presented with a Third screen asking them to confirm installation. Click the "YES" Button.
Now, the software will be installed silently in the background, and you can inform our engineers that you have completed all the steps.
